There are realtors everywhere, but there is only one Spiros Filios. I seldom do reviews and even when I do, they are not all five stars. Spiros is a five star realtor and earned every star. We now have our forever home because of him. We were looking for a home in Las Vegas, Nevada and Spiros was recommended. It turned out to be the best recommendation I could have received. As an out of town buyer, our trips were limited, but when we could make it, even on short notice, Spiros was always there for us. I know he has a very busy practice, but as far as I was concerned, he made me feel like his only client. There was a time when we saw a property online and asked Spiros if he could take a look at it and video it for us. He did just like it was part of his service. There was no task too small or too big that he couldn't do and always did very willingly. Since we were from out of town, I relied very heavily on Spiros recommendations, the greatest of which was the property inspector. When the seller's agent agreed to repair certain inspection issues and didn't, Spiros stepped up and did it himself. When a real estate agent claims to be full service agent, I don't think their services could compare to Spiros. Tim was willing to go above and beyond what you would expect from a realtor. The thing that stood out to me was his patience and honesty. We live outside Nevada; I was looking for an agent who we can trust and will represent us for selling our house. I contacted Sean first week of September to do valuation of the house so we can sell it. When he got to the house the main doorknob was broken and he couldn't enter the house. He called me and I suggested to call the locksmith. The next day, Sean sent me a receipt for reimbursement and no charge for his time after he went to Home Depot on his own time to purchase the master lock. We were very grateful for his help, and delighted with his professionalism. When the house valuation was done, Sean gave us advice on how to market our property, with options that could save us money if we decided. Since, we live outside the states, Sean coordinates everything from vacuum steam cleaning to repainting while communicating to us what is going on all the time. In just over a week my house was in the market and three weeks later we got an offer. On top of that, we signed the closing a week early than scheduled. Sean was on top of every aspect of the sale, and I didn’t have to worry about anything. When there were documents need to be electronically signed, he texted me ahead of time, so I knew what to expect. Prior to house inspection, he made sure that all utilities are working from lights to gas to water. On the day of the close signing, Sean prepared the mailbox keys, and the remotes are available, so the buyers can have them. The service that Sean has shown is above and beyond! Funny story about Ricky, I actually wasn’t planning on working with him at first. I went to an open house, and he asked me to sign a buyer agreement, but I had already committed to another realtor (even though I hadn’t signed anything yet). That guy, however, wouldn’t show me a single house without a preapproval letter, even though we were both working with the same mortgage guy who had already confirmed I was preapproved. I get it, rules are rules, but come on.Fast forward, and Ricky ended up being an absolutely stellar agent. We looked at what felt like a million houses because I had really picky criteria, and he made sure we checked every reasonable box on my list. The man had the patience of a saint. In the end, I found a home where everything I wanted could come together.Not only did we get a great deal with all kinds of seller incentives, but Ricky also navigated a complete nightmare on the lending side (which had nothing to do with him). He kept the seller’s agent on board through seven escrow extensions while making sure we kept all the incentives. That alone deserves a medal.I told him upfront that follow-up was the most important thing to me, and as someone in sales, I can confidently say he overdelivered. Even after I had already committed to working with him, he kept checking in just to make sure I had everything I needed. If this man followed up any harder, he’d be my accountability coach.I could go on and on, but bottom line, if you’re buying a home in the Las Vegas area, Ricky is your guy.
